They do not have to wait until the book is due back.
Limits:
Kindergarten:Check out 1 book at a time.
1st-3rd Grade:Check out 2 books at a time.
4th – 5th Grade:Check out 3 books at a time.
Renewal:
Books can be checked out for 2 weeks. All books may be renewed if needed for longer periods of time. The one renewal is due to the fact that some materials may take longer than two weeks to read.
Recommendations:
We increase the books for 1st-3rd grade so that they can have a book for pleasure reading and one related to reports they have been assigned or an accelerated reader book.We increase the book limit for 4th-5th grade because they will probably need books for pleasure reading, book reports, subject research, and accelerated reader.
